Good ottoman with storage. The hinges work well, and the top lid stays open by itself without holding it up.
The legs and the instructions on how to attach the legs are bit off (not clear which side they should face when installed), it looks like they are a bit crooked when put on but otherwise good value for the money.

Looks great, lots of interior space, very easy to assemble. We bought this to use as an attractive toy storage option in our living room. The safety hinges prevent the lid from coming down on little fingers and heads. Couldn't be happier with it.

I was looking for a non-ugly container for the mountains of baby toys taking over my living room that could possibly be used after my baby grows up. This ottoman was perfect to hold everything. The hinge holds the lid up if you open it enough, meaning that there's little potential for slamming on baby's fingers. The top and sides are soft and padded, so I don't have to worry about my little one knocking his teeth out on a hard coffee table. It is sturdy enough for me to sit on.
The only downsides are that the top isn't flat (there's a slight curve as would be expected with any upholstered item) and there was a strong vinyl-y smell which went away after a few days of airing out.
Perfect for what I needed!
