9pc Counter Height Storage Dining Table w/Lazy Susan & Chair Set Review by AllysonT

A good friend of mine has this set and it looks great in her dining room, so I decided to get it also. It is a nice looking set - I only set up 6 chairs and am saving the other 2 for a rainy day. However two concerns regarding quality - when I received the set there were a few places where the wood was damaged (not due to shipping, boxes were fine). Nothing noticeable or dangerous, but it raised an eyebrow. Definitely not worth sending it back. The second concern is how easily the wood gets marked up. My small dog jumped up on the table and immedately there were scratch marks in it just from her walking around. There is also an imprint from the bottom of a wine bottle I was trying to open. However whenever I've been to my friend's house I have never noticed anything on her table - so either mine is a fluke, or I notice things on my own table that I wouldn't see on others'. Still the set looks really nice and does not feel flimsy when I sit or eat at it. Overall for the price I would purchase again.

Please please please do not buy this table from this company. I recieved a table with a manufacturer defect and have sent a total of 13 emails and made 7 phone calls. Each time they have a different excuse of just having to go through one more step and then they will send the replacement. Until recently I was told "I'm sorry ma'am but it turns out all of the tables were made with that defect so we don't have any replacements that we can send you." So basically I'm supposed to just DEAL with a defected table! And since they kept putting me off saying they would be sending a new one any day now...it's now too late for me to dispute the credit card charge. IF the statement they told me is true, it means that if you order this table today (June 30, 2011), you'll recieve a defect table as well and be told basically to DEAL WITH IT! I'm reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau and if anyone knows how I report them to Amazon can you please comment and let me know. Thank you.

I really like this table. A little difficult to put together. However, my only beef is that the cost of the table dropped $80 after purchased and there was a delay getting the table and chairs delivered by the shipping company.
